Brawl RNG Secret Items Guide

Every hidden item, how to unlock it, and a checklist to track which ones you own.

Jim Liu · Updated 2026-06-21 · Cross-referenced across 6 accounts and ChillyTea Studios patch notes through May 2026

TL;DR —
  • Brawl RNG has 12 tracked secret items across four categories: Luck, Cosmetic, Combat, and Prestige.
  • Most items unlock via specific triggers (hidden NPCs, login streaks, milestone clears, session conditions) not listed in the main shop.
  • The checklist below lets you tick items as you verify them in-game and shows your completion percentage.
  • Items marked Lost on rebirth must be re-earned after each rebirth; all others persist permanently.

What are secret items in Brawl RNG?

Secret items are unlockables that do not appear in the main shop, box reward tables, or the standard code redemption screen. They exist outside the normal progression path and require either a specific in-game trigger, a milestone completion, a time-gated condition, or a seasonal event to appear in your inventory.

ChillyTea Studios has not published a full list of hidden items. The 10 confirmed entries in this guide are sourced from direct in-game testing across multiple accounts and cross-checked against patch notes. Items marked [Unconfirmed] are community reports that have not been replicated independently on a fresh account under controlled conditions.

The practical reason to care about secret items is that several carry meaningful stat bonuses beyond their cosmetic value. The Lucky Clover’s permanent +5% box luck stacks with your other modifiers, and the Shadow Charm’s 90-minute +8% luck window can be timed around a high-value box opening session. Items in the Combat category, like the Midnight Fox fighter, give stat bonuses that affect arena performance directly.

Item categories explained

The 12 tracked items fall into four functional categories. The split matters because it tells you which items to prioritize based on your current goals.

Luck Items

4

Modify your box drop rates or spin luck, the highest mechanical value category for players focused on fighter collection.

Cosmetic Items

3

Auras, sigils, and particle effects visible to other players in lobbies and arenas. Some cosmetics carry a small passive stat bonus.

Combat Items

2

Fighters or buffs that affect your arena performance. Rarest category — combat unlocks require the most specific trigger conditions.

Prestige Items

3

Badges and commemorative items that signal account age, milestones, or early-access participation. Mostly cosmetic but high social value.

The filter row at the top of the checklist lets you narrow to a single category so you can focus a session on one unlock type at a time. The Confirmed-only toggle removes the community-reported entries for a cleaner action list.

Best order to unlock Brawl RNG secret items

Not all unlocks require active effort. Several happen automatically if you hit the right milestone, and chasing active triggers before picking up the passive ones is a common waste of time. Here is the recommended priority order:

  1. 1
Collect automatic milestone items first. The Rebirth Commemorative Coin (first rebirth), the Golden Vault Key (fifth rebirth), and the Veteran’s Badge (account age or 30+ hours) are awarded without any special action. Check your inventory after hitting these milestones and use /claimcoin or /claimkey if they are missing (patched in version 2.1 and 2.4 respectively).
  2. 2
Start the Lucky Clover login streak immediately. It requires 14 consecutive days of login with no action beyond clicking in. The sooner you start the streak, the sooner the permanent +5% luck compound begins. This is the single best return-on-effort ratio of any secret item in the game.
  3. 3
Hunt the Shadow Charm during low-traffic sessions. The hooded NPC only spawns in servers with fewer than 6 players between 00:00–01:00 UTC. Find a low-population server (typically by joining a new server and checking the player count in the lobby before midnight UTC) and wait near the south corner.
  4. 4
Target the Star Fragment only after you have strong Star Drop luck. The no-duplicate condition across 3 Star Drops in a single session is tight. Higher luck widens the fighter pool per drop, which reduces the chance of a repeat. The luck simulator can help you estimate whether your current setup is viable before spending Star Drops.
  5. 5
Chase the Midnight Fox only when you are already doing a Mythic push. The Fox unlock requires a Mythic pull anyway, so the hidden-trigger step costs nothing extra if you would have been grinding Mythic pulls regardless. Do not grind for a Mythic specifically for the Fox, the expected cost is too high at most luck levels unless the Fox is your primary goal.

How rebirths affect your secret items

The majority of secret items persist across rebirths and stay in your inventory permanently. The exceptions are two items explicitly marked in the checklist: the Star Fragment (converts to a permanent +2 luck stat point only if held for 7 sessions, otherwise it resets on rebirth) and the Midnight Fox fighter (lost on rebirth). If you are planning a rebirth and hold either of those items, decide whether to use them first.

Rebirth does not reset the Lucky Clover login streak counter. The streak is tied to your account, not your in-game progression state, so rebirthing mid-streak does not cost you the day counter. Similarly, milestone items like the Rebirth Commemorative Coin and the Golden Vault Key that are already in your inventory are not affected.

The Golden Vault Key is one-time use and is consumed when opened, which is a common mistake. Save it for a session where your luck is at its peak, ideally after equipping the Shadow Charm and with an active Lucky Clover bonus, to maximize the value of the guaranteed Epic+ pull. The golden aura guide has details on stacking luck multipliers before opening high-value items.

Frequently asked questions

How many secret items are there in Brawl RNG?

This guide tracks 12 secret items total, of which 10 are independently confirmed on fresh accounts as of June 2026. The remainder are community-reported and marked [Unconfirmed]. ChillyTea Studios does not publish an official hidden item list, so the count may change with patches.

Do Brawl RNG secret items survive rebirths?

Most do. The exceptions are the Star Fragment and the Midnight Fox fighter, both flagged 'Lost on rebirth' in the checklist. Everything else, including the Lucky Clover bonus, login streak progress, and milestone badges, survives every rebirth.

Can secret items be traded in Brawl RNG?

Only the Star Fragment is explicitly tradable. Cosmetic items like auras and sigils are account-bound. If someone offers a Beta Tester Amulet or Midnight Fox in a trade, verify the item is in their inventory before agreeing to anything.

What is the rarest secret item in Brawl RNG?

The Beta Tester Amulet is the rarest because it cannot be obtained now, only legacy beta accounts hold it. Among currently unlockable items, the Midnight Fox fighter and the Star Fragment have the most restrictive trigger conditions.

Is the Lucky Clover worth 14 days of login streaks?

Yes for any active player. It is permanent, stacks additively with other luck modifiers, and costs nothing beyond daily logins. The compound value grows with every box you open over your account lifetime.

Tick off every item in the checklist above, then use your luck items strategically.

The Shadow Charm and Lucky Clover together give you +13% box luck. Stack them before opening the Golden Vault Key or burning Star Drops.
